“Wedding Farms,” Travis Hodges.
Staging the perfect wedding photo is serious business. But in Vietnam it has taken on an extraordinary twist. Couples, in full wedding regalia, pose in front of styrofoam castles and plastic wonderlands. The photos are taken before the wedding day with the images often displayed at the reception. In his photo essay, “Wedding Farms,” Travis Hodges—a photographer based in Southeast Asia—offers a behind the scenes look at these fashionable photo shoots showcasing couples as they queue to have their wedding photos taken amongst extravagant sets and backdrops.
